SP Task Manager is now available and fully supports Smartphone 2002 and 2003. Status window has been re-designed and a status bar has been added to the process and application list window.

This version is available in windows exe file or cab. I put the link to cab files below [Links have been updated for v 2.0b2]:

English version

French version

German version (thanks to Sven Rutten for translation)

Danish version (thanks to Animefan for translation)

Other languages should be available soon.

Thanks for reporting bugs, comments or questions here or by using our report form.

Hmmm can't really get the Danish version to install properly...

Edited: Actually can't get the English version to work either ... and it's not just the shortcut that's busted, cause when I try to open it with Smart Explorer I get this error:

Unable to open the file. The system returned the error 'Unknown error'!

(Helpful error btw *HEHE*)

Edited again: DuH!! It's just a 2k3 version???

Looks like it will not install correctly on the Storage card.

EDIT this is on an E100

This version has been optimized for E200 and only supports E200. Sorry guys, forgot to mention this in the first message  We will update the SPV 1G version soon if users are interested.

Here it is. We have updated SP Task Manager to version 2.0b2. It now supports both Smartphone 2002 and 2003. We have made as many tests as possible. So be kind to report any bugs you find

Note that this version is not signed. So it runs on SPV E200 or unlocked SPV 1 and E100. Final relase will be signed.

Are there any other differences to previous release? I have an E200 so if E100 compatibility is the only change then I don't need to update.

Cheers

There is some minor changes in the screen refreshing. In beta1, when changing from Status to Process list for example, the status bar at bottom was refreshed after the list has been updated. Now it is redrawn before the list is updated.

Thanks for this feedback. We have not changed the percentage calculation, so this error is maybe there for a long time. We will check this.

I noticed U didn't mention it working on an unlocked MPx200 so for all those interested I can confirm that it does :)

Thanks for the information. Well it's not easy to test all these new smartphones that comes out (samsung i600, moto, etc...). Most of them are not available in Switzerland. We then have to rely on user feedback.
