Guest dingwalldemon Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Since i have installed the new 1.6 update for my original SPV i have had a few problems to say the least. My MSN still does not work, it either says (a) the server is not responding, (:) I am already signed in or © my username or password is incorrect. My calander alarm no longer functions when i set it, it displays the reminder on my home screen but doesn,t go off. When using MVP i find it almost impossible to get the back light to stay on, i usually have to switch the phone off then on again to get it to work. If i change the settings in power management they dont appear to save, as soon as i come out of the menu after saving new settings and then go back into it , i find it has reverted back to the original ones! Im thinking about trying to install the update again to see if this resolves any of the issues. Has anyone experienced any of these problems?? I am in the uk using my SPV on o2
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 May be an idea to try and do a hard reset first. see if that helps.

Guest dingwalldemon Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 Well i did the re-install of the update... Mpv player fine now but i still cant get my MSN messenger to work it still says the service is not responding!! any ideas
Guest lininjim Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Since I did the update my headphone socket doesn't work! It's not that it's stuck in, the phone doesn't recognise the headset at all! On a slightly separate note, hubby's E200 now won't use any headset other than the one it came with, all since trying (unsuccessfully) to use the bluetooth handsfree. How peculiar. Hard resets all round?
