De-cert'd my E200 using OTA and put the cleartype tweak on...no problem! tried a few others downloads, namely fembot, borg13 pockettv etc and they all come back with the message..."there is no application associated with ****. run the application first and then open this file inside the application" what am I doing wrong :oops: The cleartype by the way, has sharpened my screen brilliantly :shock:

Guest schildy Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Just checked it out when you said that and I spaced because, I had dowloaded zip files thinking they were .cabs when they needed running FROM winzip and then they auto install. So pocket tv and pocket music are fine. :) I still don't understand why borg13 and fembot won't install tho' they ARE .cab files :oops: :D
Guest smittyofdhs Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 if they are cab files put them on the phone and using a file explorer from the phone, run the cab files from there. If it still tells you that there's no app assoicated with CAB files, then your registry is screwed up because by default, cab files will auto run on the phone.
Guest schildy Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Other cabs have run fine. I created the New install folder in storage/windows/start menu, dropped the files into that folder and other stuff loads. Have you tried either of these files?
Guest smittyofdhs Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 no, but one other thing to check...sometimes people who make skins and themes end up zipping a cab file. So you have to extract the cab from the zip before you move it to the phone. If one cab autoruns fine, then they all should, unless the files within the cab are screwed up.
