Guest dbayliss Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 Sorry if i missed it in the manual but is it possible to set the E200 to auto lock the keys without having to enter a password when you come back to the phone? Also wondering is it possible to delete contact categories that are preloaded into the phone just so it uses your outlook ones? Thanks!
Guest kiddybaggie Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 Keep the red "hang up" key pressed for a few seconds to auto lock your keypad. Unlock, then # to unlock. Delete Orange contacts as you would a normal contact, highlight the selected one. Menu - 3 Delete.
Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 "Keep the red "hang up" key pressed for a few seconds to auto lock your keypad" You say auto lock - does that just mean a normal lock where it locks the keypad straight away like the menu key and * on a Nokia?
Guest dbayliss Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 So really there is no true automatic lock after x mins? Also i wanted to delete the built in contact categories and not the actual contact itself
Guest kiddybaggie Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 Toyota - Yes, I mean auto lock as an immediate keylock.....like on a nokia yes. dbayliss - No, i don't believe there is a timed autolock. Unless its something I haven't discovered yet! As for contact catergories, I'm assuming you mean the business, personal, misc etc? If so then I am unaware that these can be modified on the phone itself.
Guest @(ojo)@ Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 auto-lock after X minutes? I use 'Device Lock'. Quick press on the Power button and go down to Device Lock and set it to lock after 1 minute. Then set your password to a one key password. So it'll lock after one minute and it'll take three key presses to unlock.
