I've just successfully installed midnights new little internet time app onto my e100 no probs,,,,,,,guess what, straight away i tried to install imeter 1.0d, but it failed to install on my device, then i tried a trail app called all locations traffic counter and guess what,,,,,that failed to install on my device as well!!!!!!

Is it just me or is it the apps i am trying to load,,,,,,,have had no problems until i tried to install imeter.

Thanks in advance for your help guys

i've tried on numerous occassions to get both those apps working on my e200, i think they're pretty much essential cos i use msn messenger, but have so far been stumped as to why none of them will work properly...

anyone?

What is actually happening when it fails to install?

What may have happened is the the imeter app had a failed installation,

not seen one of these posted for ages but here's what you need to do

(if this is the cause)

Go to IPSMWindowsAppMgrInstall and delete what you find in that

folder. You may have to use Smart explorer on your phone to view the

contents of the folder, if it's installed as depending on update and

Activsync version you may not be able to see the Install folder via you PC.

it gets more bizzare, ive actually tried another gprs app and that failed to, i tried your suggestion but nothing is in the the install folder!!

I copied the cab file to IPSmwindowsaccessories, then i went to programs found accessories and the files waiting to be installed, clicke don them and seconds later 'imeter failed to instal on your phone'

Whats more bizzare is that i removed some programs and re-installed them, and guess what they installed!!!

Have orange put a bugging device on my phone to stop me using GPRS tracking/usage apps, other than that i cant seem to understand the failure.l

Another strange imeter tale ...

I swear that my dialling sticking was alot less problematic with imeter installed (post 1.6 of course).
