How can I do this on e200?

Tried via activesyn and via trial version of all-explorer (downloaded direct from their website) and can neither rename nor delete it... :)

Not quite sure but if you're trying to nuke your SMS, have you tried renaming the file and restarting phone. Think that works.

am just trying to nuke all info for mail and sms received / sent etc. even with 0 files in my mail or sms, the file is still huge (over a meg)

used to be able to rename on SPV but can't seem to rename it on e200!

Dunno about the cemail.vol thing - but in StorageWindows there is a folder called messaging - deleting the contents of that seems to free up some memory for me!

basically one of the things I want to acheive is to get the damn phone to redownload any messages on the mail server, as I'm assuming it stores details of what it has fetched already and doesn't download it twice...

But owing to problems with it associating the correct headers and emails (standard screw-up, tech support supposedly "dealing") I want a reliable way of having it redownload all available mail again.........
