Guest scott2eyes Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 Are there any alternatives to Pocket Internet Explorer for the Smartphone? What I'm mainly after is something that will let me save pages or pictures to the phone/SD card- short of doing a screenshot of every page that interests me, is there any way around this?
Guest rickt Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 I've often wondered if I can upload saved web pages from my computer to my SPV to view at a later date .Is this possible ? Many thanks.
Guest zeta101 Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 @scott, not that i am aware of at the moment. @rick, yes thats possible, very simple to do, you just copy over the files. If you want to save whole sites then it might be a good idea to get something like this: http://www.tucows.com/preview/193804.html It is designed to let you copy whole wesites to your pc for offline viewing, it alters the html of each page so all the links work. Once you have copied a site to your pc you just sent all the files (being careful to keep directory structures the same) to your SD card.
