Guest Jasonkruys Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 Is there any way I can convert a WMV file to another format? I have a file which I want to use on my phone, but the bitrate is too high. Is the only option using the encoder to change the bitrate? I'd rather change it to a format i can use on pockettv or pocketmvp
Guest rickt Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 What do you want to convert the file to ?. Theres loads of file converters available ...avi to mpeg, avi to wvm .etc .etc. Try Windows media encoder 9 . You can input a video file and encode it specifically for use on your mobile device . I converted a .avi to a .wmv to put on my SPV as a test and the results were good and it played well on Windows media player.Try it and see.
Guest Taoski Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 Check out the tutorial in the Articles section here on Modaco to covert using Windows Media Converter. Also check out the pockettv website who also have a tutorial too.
