Can't install 1.6 Orange update

I have an Orange SPV E100 and after I did some pretty stupid stuff in it to unlock it I ended up having to install the i-mate ROM.

Now I want to install the Orange Update and it says:

ERROR 117: Invalid Model ID

Your SPV model must be SPV and beyond. Please check the vender website and download a compatible the Orange SPV Sofware update.

What shall I do? :roll: Please tell me there's a way to do it! :cry:

Install the update from the Canary screen.

aaaaah it's doing it now.... let's hope it won't crash.

Why doesn't orange give those instructions on their website? How silly of them! Not everyone knows about these things. :oops:

Hass anyone heard about when orange will release the backup tool? They say it's meant to be released on the 15th od December and there's still no sign of it.

I just backed everything up and will do it this way.

Oh well,

not that backing up myself is too hard... I already did it... the only thing left to do is to retype the custom (insert text) thingy cause I have it all filled with emoticons. :wink:

I really miss IA Album! :-( it came free with i-mate.

I don't have $20 to pay for it... it's a lot of money in my opinion.

Any alternative solutions?
