Guest pembo Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 I've had an MPX for 2-3 weeks now, and although I love the phone, I am having some severe problems with it. Firsty, im on my second handset, as the number 9 key decided to give up on me after 2 days of using the previous phone. Since i had the phone (even on my first mpx), I have been experiencing poor reception, at first I put it down to my girlfriends phone being dodgy, but then after speaking to numerous people, the problem is obviously coming from my end. What happens is the other person on the line can hear perfectly what I am saying, although I can hear nothing at all. - I have just spent about 40 minutes ringing 150 and seeing if I experience poor reception, and I did. So i did a hard reset, still the problem occurs. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? or is it just me? My old phone (t68i) had fine reception, and I never experienced any problems. Guest sls Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 You're nor alone this has happened to me too. I've learned to be very careful what I say when I can't hear the person on the other line. SLS
Guest abatis Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 I am in Missoula Montana and my MpX200 is working great. i even get GPRS - what more could I ask for. When i was with ATT this phone had no internet access in Missoula. Thanks T- mob
Guest paulie-mafia Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Yup, I get poor reception too. In parts of the house where my Nokia was fine, the Moto occassionally loses signal completely! Guess this is why the 220 will have an external aerial, shame really.
