Looks like they have put the old joystick / speaker back on..

and it looks very thin?

damn just bought my e200 :/

yeh, the shape is almost like the e200, with, like you said, joypad and speaker from the orig spv, also the softkeys aswell :)

the keys look a lot flatter than the original spv, this looks like it could be the perfect combination of the e200 and the original spv. lets hope the diagonals work this time :D

looks quite good!

The main question is: does it still have that incredibly evil painted plastic finish (that scratches off if you so much as breath on it  ) that the original SPV had?

i still have the original spv and have never had any scratches on the phone !

This one does look nice....i was going to get the E200 untill the joypad problem appeared..this one might be the way to go ...

That looks pretty tasty, and the finish looks like the e200 finish (which is durable!)

E300? Only if it offers some significant benefits over the E200. I mean, the E100 basically had the same innards as the SPV - its virtue was in having a better design and keyboard (improved screen aside).

Reverting to what is essentially the SPV design would be a backward step?

looks like a cross between a spv and a 6210 to me (my first phone). does it use the same battery as e200?

I like it

(for questions above i think this phone has exactly the same internals as the E200 so appart from the look it will work exactly the same)

You realise that pics of this phone were on Modaco months ago - from the FCC database.

See if i can find the link...

EDIT Theres a link

I think there might have been another thread I'm thinking of too, with a link to the FCC database, but havnt found that yet. Some of the pics in the 2nd page of the above linked thread are from the FCC.

Spv E300? i dont think this will be a entire new spv... they just released the e200 i think they want to milk that one out or something.. maybe it will be the e150 .. looks of the e100 and the power and software of the e200 :)

Forgive me for being flippant, but I'd rather they sorted out the problems with the E200 before moving on to the next handset. I prefer the E200 style joystick, but with a nine way option for gaming. This does seem like a partly backward move to me. I'm beginning to understand how SPV and E100 owners felt when the E200 was announced. Am waiting in hope for more details on E200 update as revealed on another thread.

The 'retro' look of a year ago--it will come back in fashion for sure :)

(and this ISNT an SPV phone---its not released by Orange---it IS EXACTLY THE SAME as the E200 appart from the styling) ](*,)

MECX, doesnt mean they wont start selling it tho, QTEK sell the 8080 which is the same as the SPV2 also dont forget. (and have we had any confirmations of the processor in this thing yet? :))

I wouldnt pay much attention to naming conventiones either, why does it have to be the E150? it can quite easily be called the E300 cos it could be the next phone along, regardless of its power. that is of course if Orange do sell it, which i agree, they may not, but they also may want the same phone with alternate styling giving the user a choice of styles to buy, i personally prefer the dpad style for gaming, closer and more accurate control than the joystick

Well.. the big'est problems with e200 is in the software as far as i know, and thats not up to Orange to solve, that up to MS, and i sure they still will work on the software even though O should decide to puplish this phone.. I Mean.. why wouldn't you want as many versions of the phone as possible? Somebody prefer the joystick and some prefer the d.pad.. why not satisfy both?

Orange dont even sell this phone 'yet' and people are already complaining about 'problems being fixed with the E200 before moving on to the next handset'' was just tring to say that 'if' they do release this phone it will almost certainly run the same software as the E200 (like the SPV and SPVE100) just think people are grabbing any excuse to moan at orange.

That was my point anyway, :) :D

ive still got my orginal SPV and prefer the D pad to the joystick so i hope orange do get a hold of this one :)
