Guest Shane Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 It seems that the M3000 works fine with the SPV E200, please correct me if I'm wrong? However what features can you use. I guess you can answer and end a call with the headset, but can you redial with the headset etc. Anyone got a list of things it can do with the SPV E200. Thanks
Guest blueplanet Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 It works pretty good. There is no handsfree profile on the phone so you can only turn up/down the volume and mute, besides taking calls.
Guest superkingdave Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 ot one but ive only checked wether it answers a call cause i havent been driving recently, but it answered calls okay
Guest carlosp_uk Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Hello, I've got a plantronics m3000 - they're now HALF PRICE at Orange Shops; got mine for 44.99 - absolute bargain! I've just tested it for you, only bought yesterday, and unfortunately it only does the following: ANSWERS a call VOLUME up / down MUTE (not properly tested as I was phoning an answerphone!) You CANNOT make calls, you have to dial the number and press green on your handset. You CANNOT transfer calls to/from handset either.
Guest Shane Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Thanks for that. Can you end a call using the headset?
Guest carlosp_uk Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 Oh, and today the little plastic bit that goes behind your ears snapped as it's really flimsy. Pah. Going to write to them for a replacement...
Guest kevlar Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 Oh, and today the little plastic bit that goes behind your ears snapped as it's really flimsy. Pah. Going to write to them for a replacement... Mine is exactly the same. I have broken both supplied clips, they are just not strong enough to survive snapping on and off the earpiece. I emailed them yesterday, will let you know when I gat a reply. Kevlar
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Yep, my small one broke too, which is the one I use :) Design flaw? Anyone wanna swap your small for my big? ;-) P
Guest carlosp_uk Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Nah, I can't use the big one - it's too big and the small one a little too small! Cheers kevlar let us know what they say; I might ask them for a pack of five, looks like I'll be needing them!
Guest kevlar Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 Sorry for the slow comeback, I just received a reply from them now. They are going to send me some spare ear clips, I just have to email them back with my details. So everyone who has broken they're ear clip send them an email here [email protected] Kevlar
Guest carlosp_uk Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 Me too, only got my reply today as well! I think their system was a bit dodgy as I got about 10 autoreplies first. It said... >>>>>>>>>>> Dear , In response to your email, I hereby send you the requested information: We will send you a set of extra comfort earloops for the M3000 as soon as possible. >>>>>>>>>> "Dear ," - nice personal touch!!
Guest carlosp_uk Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 UPDATE: My pack of replacement "extra comfort" ear loops arrived today - three different sizes! They're actually NICER than the originals! But sadly they have the same flimsy thin piece of plastic that goes around the headset, and there's only one of each size.. ..so only a matter of time before I'm back onto them I fear. But even so, good customer service from Plantronics.
Guest Will Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 can someone with a m3000 tell me if the button you press to answer a call should 'click' mine just presses 'without any feedback.. cannot remember if it used to click or have some force.,.. Will
Guest Baker0 Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004  just bought one and I cant get my phone to find the headset. Is there something I need to do on the head set while my e200 is searching for it?? its all fully charged and turned on any ideas? Cheers Baker0
Guest kevlar Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Yes, you have to put the headet into discoverable mode, can't remember how, it's in the manual. Kevlar
Guest Baker0 Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 yea it was a case of RTFM:) the head set wobbles abit on me , prob my large ears:)
Guest carlosp_uk Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 I think you have to hold down the on/off button and the volume up button
