MPX200 Firmware update on my SIM locked SPVx????

what does anyone think about this. I have a SPVx that i installed a SMART ROM update on, which consequently SIM locked my phone and I have been unable to use it. So i was thinking that i might try to install the MPX200 Frimware on it and see it that does anything.

I don;t really have anything to lose, exceot i will have to screw around with my acitvesync settings since i am actually using the MPX 200 now.

any ideas are appreciated

Thats a good way to make a nice SPV paperweight. It wouldnt work. The rom's are configured for spacific hardware.
