Pop 3 and Lycos email problem

Hi,

i have just got rid of my moto mpx200 and have now got a shiny new e200 from orange.... when i had my moto, i used the pop 3 email to retrieve my emails from lycos.. and never once encountered a problem, it would connect straight away and download all my emails,excellent..

HOWEVER, i had inputted the same settings for my pop3 into my new e200 and shock horror, it wont work.... at the top of the screen it says connecting , then changes to "logging on" than "sending and receiving" then an error message comes up saying "an error has occured while downloading messages.verify that you have network coverage and that your account information is correct and then try again"

im guessing my settings are correct , seeing as im using the same settings as i used on my moto...

can anyone help or does anyone else have this problem using lycos pop3 mail.?
