Editing the registry

Hello!

I would like to edit the registry of my Smartphone. I have the MS development kit. The ActiveSync is ok, and i can run my programs written in evc4.0 on the phone.

But choosing tools/configure platform manager and choosing Smartphone 2003 device and clicking on "Test" it sais:

"Unable to load device side components. "

What can be the problem?

For this reason i cannot edit the registry (what i would like to). Or is there an other, better way to edit the registry?

Having the same problem I found that selecting Pocket PC 2003 Device as the target (you will need the Pocket PC 2003 SDK) it was able to deploy the target files and I can use all of the remote tools with my E200.

Thanks! It's working! Another bug of embedded programming...:)

BTW i got another problem now. Choosing any "Remote" program in the tools menu of eVC 4.0 it doesnt starts. A command line window blinks up for a minute, but nothing happens. I think the files are missing, or the directory is not set well. I installed the program from a Microsoft CD, so it sould not have configuration problems.

(I note that under evc 3.0 it works correct)
