problem with contact photo IDs, calls messages etc

hey, i just want to know if this is a software fault, and if other people are suffering from it.

right. when a mate sends me a messages, but i dont have them added in my phone book, it only comes up with their number, not a name when they text me. but when i add them to the phone book, all the messages they send me afterwards still only show a number! not their name.

also, when i use the built in photo ID program which oragne added to the spv e200, it doesnt come up with some numbers. like i added my mates home number after i put a photo id on, but not it doesn't come up with his photo!!!

anyone else experiencing problems.. or know how to fix it??

have you tryd to put country code like +44 , +47 , +45 etc

with phone nummers???

i've tried everything, but it still doesnt work, io'm at a loss

You've definately saved all numbers as +447777123456 (no spaces) :?:

Switch the phone off / on :?:

I can't think of anything else :?

i don't think there is any need of having the prefix anymore. I have an e200 and my numbers are all 07911111111. the spv had to have all numbers in +447934xxxxx, but since it's latest update, you don't need the prefix! try it.

I had all my numbers in +44 format, i changed them back to 079. Now there is no need for number formatters as outlook won't add spaces to the numbers.

davo try a hard reset, if that doesn't work then there is a problem with the phone. On the e200, it doesn't matter if it's 07 or +4407.

i think i've managed to get it working. when saving a number, i have added it to both 'home/mobile number, and also work number' . for some reason it now works!! i dont want to lose all my info, so i'm not doing a hard reset. thankyou very much for the suggestions and your help
