Outlook problems (again!)

My outlook seems to move birthdays in calendar one day behind sometimes (random ones) and even changes the date in the contact(!) details. This has happened many times over a period of time.

I use outlook 2003, though it happened on Outlook XP too.

I often go to a different timezone and it seems to move appointment times if the GMT location changed in settings. Though I started just changing time to avoid it..

Anyone else has this??

PS: Not even talking about duplicated birthdays entries (up to 3 so far) that also happen randomly...

Its late and my brain is whacked, but I remember reading a Microsoft Knowledge base article about this very issue, and how it occurs in Outlook even itself, where using shared .pst files etc, across two instances of Outlook where the users/PC's are in different time zones.

The long and the short of it, was that its not easy to get round, due to the actual issue itself.

I suspect the very same time zones issue, acoss different programs (i.e. phone and PC etc) are the cause of this for you, and worry that once again, in this case, there might not be any easy solution.

I also had this problem with my IPAQ as well as phone and it turned out to be a mix of timezone set diferently on my PC and IPAQ and Phone.

This sorted my problem out in part but I also made sure I the right pst file set as I found I was sync'ing with my archive pst.
