Using WAP on Orange over CSD?

I've ditched GPRS (had Orange disable it on my phone) as it is a complete rip off. :x

So now I'm trying to connect to WAP sites over dial-up (CSD). When I do, it says "Connecting..." and the two little arrows appear top right. The after about 30 seconds I get a blank page with "Untitled" whichever page I try, including wsp://orange.multimedia.

My settings:

In data connections -

Internet Connections --> Orange CSD WAP

WAP Connections -- Orange CSD WAP

In dialup connections -

Orange CSD WAP --> The Internet

Phone number: +447973100500

User name: Orange

Password: lots of asterisks (Multimedia?)

IE settongs -

Automatic detect setting is UNticked

Select networks --> WAP network

I think it's connecting OK (but don't know how to check), but have no idea what's happing afterwards. FWIW, on my old T68i, I just used to click on "The Internet" and it would dial up and go off to Orange's WAP home page no problems, so no idea what I'm doing wrong here. :?

Any ideas?
