Guest matt_hobson Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 All in the title really, just bought a 256MB card and all the current applications are on the phone itself. I have an SPV e200 and just bought a 256MB Lexar Card Is there a way i can "re-format" the phone - keeping all of my contacts - that way i can install from scratch. If not then what is the best way to transfer applications - can they be un-installed or do i move the files physically? Any help appreciated. Cheers Matt
Guest blewer Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 You could uninstall them, then re-install to memory card. Or you could just move all of your apps to the memory card via active sync and create the short cuts in the relevent folders. If you are not sure how to do this let us know and we will help :) Posted from my Smartphone!
Guest dan Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Hi there, I'm in a similar situation. Just upgrading to an E200 from an SPV and need to transfer all my applications. Most are on my 128MB card. How do I create shortcuts? I'm thinking I'll pop my existing card into the new phone and then create shortcuts but am not sure how to do it. Cheers in advance. Dan
Guest Disco Stu Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Easy mate. Use Smart Explorer (or ActiveSynch) and go to the .exe file wherever it's stored on the card. Right-click and select Copy. Now go to Storage (formerly IPSM)/Windows/Start Menu/Games (if appropriate) Right-click and select Paste Shortcut Refresh your phone menu and you're done :)
