How 2 get images list in alpha order, choosing wallpaper???

I have a huge long list of wallpapers I have created for my E200.

They are just simple 176x200 pixel photos etc, that I have sized and cropped so that a minimalistic .xml file showing just top info bar, time, date, network, and sms/mms, missed calls, shows in the corner, in small font.

When I say lots, I mean LOTS of photos though.

My problem is, despite carefully choosing a filename for each photo, so that they are similarly named by relevance, when I go into Settings > Home Screen, and go to select my wallpaper image, the files are listed in a random and haphazard manner.

This makes finding them such a chore, as a file named "JW Benidorm1" will be followed by "PPC Bliss" for example with at least ten random files listed, before you come across "JW Benidorm2" for example.

So what I wish to know, is whether there is any way to get the files that are displayed in the list of wallpaper choices on the Home Screen setup page, to list in some proper order?

Can this been done, as this is driving me mad, and means taking ages to change home screen wallpapers.

I've had similar problems with MP3s especially and also photos. As far as I can work out the date/time stamp is the important factor in the order in which files are listed on the smartphone. If you're copying the files from the PC make sure you highlight the files in the order you want them copied to the smartphone. For example, if you have files 'A' to 'Z' and you click 'Z' first, then press shift and click 'A', file 'Z' will actually be copied first and, therefore, appear first in a list of files in a selection list. It might even be important, once you've highlighted all the files you require on the PC, which file you click on to drag across to the smartphone explorer window. You might even have to ensure you click on the first file you highlighted to ensure they're copied across in the same order. I'm not sure as to the accuracy of that fact, however.

I think I tried this just in case, but I'll go back and revisit it, just in case...
