that would be the coolest thing ever! thanks for bringing it up. I guess somebody would have to code an app to have the external display read the ID3 tags from the mp3s. Also, I hate how I can't skip back and forth between mp3 tracks with the phone closed. Hopefully when the mpx220 comes out, motorola will realize that many people are using their mpxs' as their primary mp3 player.

The external display is actually a .jpg image so you would need a different image for every song and some serious reg editing. IMHO it is not possible...

Isn't only the orange logo a jpeg. As the external display can show caller ids and numbers?
