HELP just broke my SPV :(

hi, i've just dropped my spv and now the screen is all messed up :) when i turn it on or off you can still see part of the screen and a black line running down the screen, when it's on you can see bits of the screen behind all that. anway i got the spv from the link and took out there own insurance for it. so just a quick question so i know what to expect when i take it in the store tomorrow- what will they do? send it off to repair or replace it? i want to make sure they don't try to fob me off(as i'm only 17 so they might try to rip me off).

If its Dixons (Link) own insurance, then it must say on the Terms & Conditions!

I have Orange Care, and when my phone had a fault, it was collected and delivered a new one the same day!

I used to own a Panasonic on O2 and had 12 months insurance, and the phone had a fault.... I had to box the phone up, wait for the phone to be collected and it was returned in 3 days!

The basis was, if it could not be fixed within this period, it was replaced!

i went in today they took my phone and details and charged me £25 to get it fixed(i payed £140 for the insurance :) ) said it could be anywhere from 2-6weeks. oh they did give me a 3330 as a lone phone.

so no smartphone for me for a while :D
