surfing net, but only using minutes? for ATT

I frekaing tired of my v60, the antenna broke off again

so, im going to upgrade, the T616 and the mpx 200 on the top of my list

what im wondering is, can i surf the net and chat on IMs by just using my own dial isp. or will I need to pay some extra fees

it be pretty nifty, to surf the net, without having to worry how many mg you're download which ends up emptying your wallet

You can chat on IM's (Agile currently supports ICQ, MSM, AIM and Yahoo) and you can surf the internet. However both these use GPRS (Not an ISP) and you will be charged for that. Most companies offer bundles as an addition to your monthly rate, but you'll have to check the offers to see how much that'd cost you.
