Guest craigblade Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 I have noticed on ebay that totally unlocked SPV phones appear to sell for around £100, compared to locked phones which only fetch around £60. When I say unlocked I mean application unlocked, AND sim-unlocked. As it is possible to totally unlock the SPV using instructions found on this website, then can I also advertise my SPV as being totally unlocked if I was to do this?? However, if a hard reset was made on my SPV then presumeably all the locks would be restored - do you think that would matter when selling the phone?? Or am I wrong - is there a way of unlocking that keeps the phone unlocked even after a hard reset? craig
Guest smeg36 Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 A hard reset will reapply the application lock, but the SIM unlock will remain even after a hard reset.
