Guest XaCoSo Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 Searching for how to take better pictures and videos on my Qtek 8080, I've become with the idea of the SD-I/O slot, and those SD cameras I've seen when I had my iPaq, and I've found this:  http://www.lifeview.com.tw/eng_html/produc...m/IA/Cam_SD.htm NOTE: FlyCAM-SD only provides PocketPC driver software for PocketPC device in the retailer package . FlyCAM-SD provides free SDK on the web site if you would like to develop application software compatible with FlyCAM-SD. So... Is it possible to make it compatible for SmartPhones !!!!! :) Do you know something about this? Is there anyone with a camera like this? I've already seen the one for Motorola, but it has the same specs than my built-in camera.....
Guest smeg36 Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 Drivers, it is all about drivers. I am going to give it a 99.9999% chance there are no drivers for a Smartphone.
Guest XaCoSo Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 Well, there aren't, that's clear on the website, but I mean that it's possible to make it work on a smartphone with some developer help...... :?:
Guest smeg36 Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 If your Smartphone has a SDIO slot, then it should be entirely possible to write the driver to use that on a Smartphone. It would just be really hard.
