Guest frazzel Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 Well I spoke to the company who produces fastchat and they do at some stage want to support Micorosoft Handsets. So hopefully we get to to use this service soon!! I have already used this service in the USA and I found it quite good to use, very handy I must say. I give you all the web link to site which the company that produces the software http://www.fastchat.com If u go there it will give you an insight to it all. Maybe we should give orange the push to get this service quicker to us all! We are all misssing out already on such a good thing! Cant underrstand on why we have not already got this service anyway, when u compare US networks to us! :)
Guest Smoovey Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 From the name it sounds like one of those Nokia-style enhancement services which would be advertised on television endlessly :) I won't name companies but the one which advertises ringtones with (what sounds like) such an airhead woman reading the details out is awful! Glad that 'Fastchat' could actually be useful
Guest frazzel Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 Well its not a Nokia service, if u read the site on the link it will tell u more! I have used it in the USA and its a great service! Beats sending a txt message anyday mate!
Guest Smoovey Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 I wasn't saying it was a Nokia service :) Just that the name of it sounds like one. Like message xxxx to speak to people quickly  It looks good, I did look at the site. Sorry you got the wrong idea about what I meant.
Guest frazzel Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 No problem mate, well it will be very popular once it is launched across more handsets. I mean why launch it on a Treo, which to me is not one of the most popular handsets is it? Or am I worng in saying this? Also it should not be that costly we hope, :)
Guest frazzel Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 So how many users are interested in this service then?
Guest clv101 Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 It seems expensive at £6.99 a month + GPRS billed from the operator. Can you compare and contrast fastchat with CoMobi v3.0 http://comobi.webgate.bg/ ?
Guest frazzel Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Well thankyou for letting me know about that site, never heard of that one mate! Well have sent an email and I let you all know what I recieve back from them!
Guest frazzel Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 Welll I got an email back from the company ahd they do not have any support or are going to support a Micorsoft Smartphone! So will have to see weather or not we will get this service!" You would think that Orange would roll this out a little faster eh? So how many people out there wish for this to happen? Or do you guys not want this service? I could be wrong eh?
Guest LarsDK Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 It looks nice... I would be interrested...
Guest frazzel Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 Well anyone used this service on other products such as the p800
