Can i just say for the record, i've never eaten a worm, group of worms, (also known collectively as a writhe) or indeed any kind of small garden creature.

Coucou,

Just because Stockport County (who?) play like they are pushing up worms (from 6 feet under) don't get above your station! Bring on The Mighty Imps! :) :D

Yeah hopefully,

Going from relegation candidates last season to play-offs; hopefully match that now. We've always had a decent defence (using 11 men) but now have some firepower (our top scorer last season was a defender!). Should be interesting. If we do go up give us a shout (I have a season ticket) and we'll meet up for a beer drowning your sorrows at losing! :) :D

play-offs is such a lottery. when we were in that division - which i'm glad to say is quite a few years now - we were in the play-offs twice and eventually went up automatic in second spot. got to go to wembly a few times though!

CRISPY WORMS IN CHERRY SAUCE

Ingredients

55g worms, fresh

For the cherry sauce:

85ml/3fl oz red wine

55g/2oz tinned cherries

85ml/3fl oz beef stock

2 tsp corn flour

Method

1. Preheat a small, ovenproof frying pan.

2. Preheat oven to 250C/500F/Gas 9.

3. Place the worms, skin side down, in the frying pan.

4. Fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the skin is crispy.

5. Transfer the worms to the oven and roast for 6-8 minutes.

6. Remove the worms from the oven and place on a plate to rest.

7. Place the frying pan back on the hob.

8. Pour in the red wine, cherries and stock and stir well to collect the worm fat.

9. Leave the sauce to boil and reduce.

10. Add a little water to the corn flour and stir to make a paste.

11. Add the corn flour paste to the sauce.

12. Continue to stir the sauce until the corn flour has thickened the sauce.

13. Remove the sauce from the heat, pour over the worms and serve.

ENJOY ! :)

Shinehead Abuses Badger Shock!!!

Today Mr Stu Shinehead (41) from the Disco admitted to poking a badger with a spoon. When questioned in connection with the incident he admitted "It was being smelly in my garden and eating too many of my personal supply of worms."

Police have declined to comment on whether the badger is pressing charges. The maximum penalty is believed to be the compulsory purchase of an entire round of drinks.

I'm a bit worried about this dressing as a cow and doing the tango, what happens if a bull comes up to you on your way home?

A karate stance is good for bracing yourself...
