Guest Digiboy Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 Orange sold me their World Access 3 pack which includes 240 minutes of WAP. Can anyone point me to some advice on how to access dial-up WAP on my SPV E200? I see the options in Data Connections (what's CSD??) but can't tell how to make Internet Explorer do the business. Grateful for any hints - otherwise the 240 minutes seems a bit of a turkey! :?
Guest Brody Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 Err, just use the GPRS bundled with the Access pack, thats what i do.
Guest Digiboy Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 Errr...You miss the point. 3MB of GPRS is fine. But there are 240 minutes of WAP which I pay for and would also like the option of using. I was simply asking if it's possible. It might also be useful to use WAP if GPRS is out of range or a node is down. However, having spoken to Orange, I now understand that you either use WAP or GPRS and that the 240 unused minutes of WAP on my bill simply indicates that I only used GPRS for my internet access. Phew.
