Guest malloc Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 My previous web site has been closed :x , so I uploaded a new version on a new site : PocketMvp_8RBeta3F The new version includes the patch made by maxh2003 that fixes the E200 sound issues, a patch made by ceb that enables to play all audio files from the SD card (Play ALL -> generates a playlist on the fly). Thanks maxh2003 and ceb  !!! The new C++ sources are also there... I know there's some issues when PocketMVp is used on the new smartphones (E200 etc...), but I have only the first SPV (Smartphone2002), and I really can't fix the bugs on a Smarpthone2003 device :) ... hum...that is unless someone gives me one  ... *** Off topic *** Also I've uploaded a new unreleased MicroTurismo beta (this is the Beta as it was when I stopped the project in June 2003). I can also give the sources if someone wants to continue it... malloc
Guest casperr Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 malloc, awesome job. I love PocketMVP a lot. Just a question, the equalizer only works for mp3s and not for ogg files right?
Guest malloc Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 Yes it works only for mp3, it's not possible to add ogg equalizer support with the ogg decoder sources I have  malloc
Guest James Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 thanks for the update! Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest Rob_Quads Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 Question regarding Playlists. How do I get them to work. The playlist worked fine when the files were on my XP machine but the player does not even pick up thier existance? The playlists are located in the same directory as the songs. The player does pick up the existance of the songs.
Guest madu Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 exactly what type of playlist are you trying to use? (ie maybe you are trying to use WMP playlist?)
Guest GNU Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Good news! Nice work old fellow! Could you perhaps take a look at the light "stay on" feature?! I know that I have been bugging you about this for a long time but this is the N1 s/w on my phone and I use it often.
Guest mikeones Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 Please Please Please  Mr Orange, Can you make a very good action either for your company and for the SPV E200'owners ...... GIVE AN E200 to Mr Malloc ! what s a better argument to sell the new spv than it can play divx perfectly ? Sincerely, Mike e200 French owner.
Guest rh0926 Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 I downloaded PocketMVP and loaded it on my MPx200. In the about dialog, it gives the version as .8.041303 Smartphone Port Beta3f. When I run the program, it opens fine. I then click on the right action button (File) and select the Open | Audio File option. I'm then presented with a screen that has 'Select File....' as the title and as the only option. There is no file structure that I can browse and select the files. Same thing happens when I try to open a video file. If I choose , it takes me back to the main page. Any idea on what I can do to open a file? Do they need to be in the same directory I installed the application? Does anybody have PocketMVP running on an MPx200?
Guest mikeones Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Your files must be on the Storage Card ! Mike
Guest rh0926 Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Thanks. My files were on the storage card in their own folder. Once I moved them into the root directory, they appeared. Thanks again.
Guest wiggy Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 I tried running the new version on my MPx200 but I get an error messgae when I tried to load a movie saying that video and audio are unknown versions. Reverting back to the previous version everything works just perfectly. Is the new beta not compatible or is it my phone? :?: Ian
