Downgrade/unlock e200

I have a orange e200 and have read that it can be unlocked but i would have to downgrade the phone software first. Where can I get this from and how do i do it the 3 colour screen says SMART PHONE V1.03 DOC.

If anyone can give me help in sim unlocking it I would be gratfull

Can't downgrade the e200 yet as we have no rom files (or upgrade come to that), so to unlock you will need to get the code from orange.

Been told because the phone is still in contract I can't have it. My wife is the one with the contract and she is having my phone and I was having the e200 but i am on vodaphone contract. Have to wait until unblocking software is available. Thanks

Well as long as your wife ask's and pays (thats the killer) Orange have no reason not to give her the code as she is still under contract to Orange and still has to pay the monthly line rental, she is not asking to have her contract ended just she want to use other chips in the phone, you have to push them to get the code don't be fob'd off with crap and you may have to wait a few days before you get the code as well, as for unlocking software no one as far as I can see is working on any (or they are not saying) I would love to have a go at doing some unlocking software but have no clue on were to start.
