E200 ROM files copy

Hi there,

When I try to copy files from E200 (i.e.:JAWBREAKER or some homescreens files), I get an error message saying the ROM files where copy protected.

Is it possible to bypass the problem?

if its just jawbrakers you want then look in the games section under bubblets.

the rom itself as far as i know cannot be copied plus ive seen simlock exe in the explorer but through the computer its not there :? :? :?

Okay for the game.

But I'm more interested in the possibility of copying and editing homescreens files.

The strange thing is that some files are copyable, others not.

Try to copy i.e. the "WindowsOrangeHomescreen.home.xml" file to your PC. You'll get an error message.

Is it possible to turn this lock off?

I have managed to copy those files simply make an spv folder on your computer,then open the windows explorer again ( you have 2 running at the same time ) 1 should be open on smartphone ( and the folder with the files you want) and 2 on the spv folder.

make the spv folder full screen and the smartphone small screen and drag with the mouse the files over the spv folder and it will copy ( if your computer can see it then it will copy ( eg the simlock exe on the rom cannot be seen on the computer but can be seen on the prog smart explorer )

I just tried your way.

Got still the same message: "Cannot copy OrangeHomeScree.Home: Executable and resource files in ROM cannot be copied."

Argh!
