Install an Orange ROM on a SMART SPV E100

Hello! I've a SMART SPV E100 (SAP) with ROM 1.7.13 and i want to instal an Orange ROM like 1.6 but I don't success.

When the phone is on and I launch the upgrade I get the message: Error 117 Invalid model.

When the phone is in Canary mode after any second I see a white display on my phone and tha upgrade is freezed!

Can you help me?

The upgrade has freezed :?: You must run the update from the Canary Tri-Colour Screen. If the problem persists, do a <<>> which will delete your IPSM and then run your update via the step above :lol:

If this doesnt work post again and im sure there'll be a genius on hand to give you some extra help which im currently lacking just now :?

I have do like you ask: do an Hard Reset and out the phone in Canary mode but the upgrade is freezed!

I think that this ROM SMART is very bad...

Can you help me?

I think this you have blootloader 1.07 or 1,10 ?thats way you can upgrade to orange 1,6

So long as the bootloader hasnt been damaged then there WILL be a way to fix the problem.

Ask a mod to put this thread in the help and advice section :lol:

you can see on canary screen wich BL you have If you don't have 0.98 so you have to downgrade BL to upgrade 1,6 orange take a look HERE

I can't success to downgrade the bootloader...my bootloader is 1.09 and i've a copy of 0.98 but I can't install it on my SAP because the new bootloader don't show me the oprtion "restore bootloader" when I turn on the phone with SD card in!

have you tried to downgrade to old smart rom and upgrade to orange 1,6

if you can downgrade to old smart rom so i think you can get rigth BL
