SMS 2 HTTP?

Hi there modaco members,

I myself am not able to code apps for smartphone, but i've got an idea that maybe someone can work out if he has the time.

The idea is that if someone sends an SMS with a certain command, your internet explorer on your smarthphone visits a website automatically passing on the variable that was sent.

So if someone sends you an sms with the text "GUESTBOOK Hi there moritz just wanted to sign into your guestbook, guest", your spv automatically sends internet explorer to http://www.yourpage.com/guestbook.php?text...book,%20guest". Maybe its even possible to do this silent so the internet explorer won't pop up.

I myself would use the feature for my online game (omerta, an online mafia game with over 8000 players). Not for a guestbook, but for admin purposes.

Anyway this idea might be useful for many purposes I guess.

I just can't create it, and i thought if someone who can and who likes this idea, might have a look into it.
