Guest NikLP Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 Oh dear. HELP! I've backed up the IPSM, with warnings, which I don't know where they are. I've started the update, but it stopped with a can't update message (error 113) which I don't know what it is. I did what it said and rebooted and recradled the SPV, and nothing happened. When I got bored and killed the process, I rebooted my phone and all I get is the Canary. The restore doesn't work. The only response I get is (canary screen) 'serial' changes to 'usb' when I cradle the phone. Redoing the update tool now gives me a 101 error, can't connect to phone. Bright ideas? Nik

Guest NikLP Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 Yeah, the problem was it wouldn't run from anywhere! Turns out I got it to work. There was some sort of ASync problem. I rebooted the PC and it 'found new hardware' (odd) but it reinstalled some USB driver or other (don't think it was the normal usb driver for SPV though?) Weird. I did the update from there and it was cool. Now I just hope everything else goes ok! Thanks anyways... Nik
