Guest Lux Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 Hi, I am a very new user of the great SPV (classic) but I have a little problem. I thought concerning the calendar there would be nothing better than a smartphone with windows os but unfortunately I can not choose an individual remider for an appointment. Just the preconfigured ones (1, 5, 10, 15, 30 min, 1hour, 1day, 1week) are possible. What if I want the phone to remind me 3 hours before? The only way I figured out was to create the appointment with Outlook on my pc and then sync. But that cant't be all, is it?! Thanks for any replies. Frank p.s.: Is that different with different roms? I have the latest QTek (1.50.9.1)...
Guest fraser Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 Yeah, I found that as well. You'd need to get a third party app to make these changes, as the in-built ones won't let you set those values at all. You may however be able to hack the registry to change the list of pre-set reminder times. Midnight ( ), any thoughts?
Guest Lux Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Thanks for the fast reply  So what to do? Which 3rd party software would let me make these changes? Which reg-Keys do I have to change? I would be really happy if somebody knew something *hoping* Frank
Guest fraser Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 Don't know of any apps that do this; in fact I don't know of any apps that key-into the phones schedule stuff, everyone seems to be using the built-in one. As for reg-keys, was hoping that someone else would chime in with some suggestions, guess not.
Guest ruhande Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 In Outlook you can configure any way you like. Then sync it to the phone, and that's it!
Guest drblow Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 Does anybody know can you change the snooze time?? 5 mins just isnt long enough, and I have to take at least 4 or 5 before I get up!
