Guest MPXtricky Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 I had no end of trouble using Nami's Angelina Jolie theme on my Motorola MPX200. 1. The SMS/Email info didn't display at all 2. The alarm plugin did not display any text when selected 3. Windows Media Player plugin placed a white bar across the home screen picture when selected. I still really liked this theme so I thought I'd try and fix the bugs. Anyway, after a bit of guesswork and much farting about, I managed to crack it. This fix has only been tested on the Orange build of the MPX200. Nami's AJ theme must already be installed on your phone for this to be effective. Extract the files from the ZIP and copy to your MPX IPSMApplication DataHome. Select AJmpx from the Home Screen setup - sorted. Thanks to RichieM for his Alarm Plugin, Orangewinger for his Media Player plugin and Nami for the original AJ theme. Enjoy! MPXtrickyajfix.zip
Guest drblow Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 So, come on, how did you fix it??
Guest MPXtricky Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Blimey, I tried loads of times to fix it. Lots of trial and error triumphed in the end me old mucker. Have a quick squiz through the xml alongside Nami's original - that will show you where the code has changed. I knocked up a couple of bitmaps for Orangewingers WMP Plugin making it more suited to the AJ theme. The Angelina pic has a black 'panel' inserted where the Alarm plugin sits which has cured the disappearing text. I had to save this a BMP cuz good old MSPaint naffs up the quality of a JPG after edits. Right then, time to start using another skin!!!
