You need copy the unzipped CAB file to your SPV and select it with Smartexplorer or copy it to IPSMWindowsStart Menu and select it from the Programs Menu. The CAB file will self extract and run the setup program
Guest rubberduck Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 SOrry can't follow U now.. "UNzip the CAB file"....???
Guest rubberduck Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 when i downloaded the programm from the FAQ i've only got 3 files.. 1) _setup 2) 0regedit.001 3) PHMREG~1.002
Guest Vector Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 I'm presuming you downloaded a file called a .cab ? Well just place that .cab in "StorageWindowsStart Menu" on the phone via activesync and then just select it in the programs menu and it will install the program...

Guest martin Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 the submitted link by the FAQ section CONTAINS NON SUCH FILENAME cab... Can you help me out gettin that file? If you go to www.monolithix.org you can download the file regedit.Strngr_ARM.zip to the PC. Unzip this file on the PC and it will extract a file called regedit.Strngr_ARM.cab file which unfortunately windows may also call a zip file (check file properties for true cab or zip). Do not unzip the cab, instead copy it to the SPV and extract it using Smart explorer (or copy to, and select from Programs Menu).
