Problem with MSN messenger on smartphone

Hi,

I get this error message when trying to login to messenger on my phone:

'Sign-in to MSN Messenger service failed as the service is not compatible with this version of the program.'

Can anyone help?

Which phone and ROM version do you have? MSN changed their Messenger a ton for security issues or something, but all old versions of MSN Messenger don't work anymore. On the SPV/E100, you have to get the 1.6 update for a working Messenger.

thanks for your reply, I'm kinda of knew to the world of the SPV, I have an original SPV not the latest one, where do I get the latest rom? and how do i save myself from losing all the messages on my phone if I upgrade?

There are tons of posts in the SPV forum of where to find, and how to do the updated 1.6 ROM. It isn't hard to do. Just search for 1.6 ROM, and you should find all you need.
