voice activation, volume control, mpx200 doesnt work

when i hold down the volume control it doesnt go to the voice activation screen. ie "please speak after the tone". it just clicks (keypad noise) until i let go. if i turn the phone off and on again it works once but then if i want it again i need to turn the phone off.

I had the same problem here, but there is a trick to this. It sounds stupid, but it works.

Push the button really hard! Bam it works! Give it a try.

wow, what a find! that trick actually works. now i can use voice dialing a lot more easily. it would be better if motorola had implemented a button.
