help with bluetooth connection please

im trying to connect my e200 via bluetooth to activesync, i use a sony laptop with built in bluetooth. on trying to connect to the laptop i get message saying connecting to com4 then the connection drops out after 1/2 secs. I have tried everything possible read all the suggestions on how to connect via bluetooth, i think the problem is with e200 as i connect my ericsson t610 without any problems first time without any problems. Does any one have any suggestions as to what the problem may be
