spv network deniend (please help someone please )

Hi i have a spv phone and it has been unlock to take any sim card, whoopps it wont take any , just displays network denied.

i have done the following

go programs / settings / telephony and changed the band selection

tried unlocking the phone again

and update the phone to Orange SPV/SPV E100 software update, v1.6.1.10.

can anyone help on this?

It's possible that either the SIM or phone has been barred. Try your SIM in another phone to check it works OK and also try another SIM in the SPV to test the phone.

Where did you but the phone ?

I had this once and OCS said that it could be because of a build up of static on the SIM card.

I thought that was crap, but after giving it a wipe and leaving it out of the phone for an hour, I put the SIM back in and no problems since. :lol:
