I cant get the Orange SPV backup/restore tool to work? help!

hi, when i run the tool, it just doesnt do anything!!! it just hangs on the backup screen at 0%

ive updated active sync and im able to install other programs and move files etc...

anybody else had this problem, or does anyone have a solution?
