Smartphone 2002 Exchange 2003 without SSL

Hi,

I have successfully connect smartphone 2003 to my exchange 2003 without

using SSL, but now we have a lot of smartphone 2002 in the company don't

have option to "Connect using SSL" checkbox when setup ActiveSync.

Is there a patch for it so the smartphone2002 can Activesync with Exchange

2003 without SSL???

had exactly the same problem. From memory there is a patch from microsoft which will disable checking on 2002 phones for testing purposes.

Our eventual solution, however, was to put secure certificates on our exchange servers. Now everyhthing works a treat.

You need to search the site for the Richm Airsync.cab file. This will allow the E100 to sync with SLL disabled..
