Vibrator settings???

Hi!

Is there anyone who knows if it is possible to change the vibrator settings?

What i am thinking about is, can you have two types of vibrate? One type for incoming call and another for SMS so you can tell the difference.

Try this :lol:

Download PHM Regedit from www.monolithix.org

now you can edit the registry and do the following

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USERControlPanelSoundCategoriesNotifications

Click on Values and select Script

Now change the Value Data to v1w1v1w1v1

This will change your vibrate notifications to vibrate 1 sec wait 1 sec Vibrate 1 sec etc but keep your incoming call vibrate unchanged

awarner, I used this example with phm reg editor and it works great but if I turn the phone off it goes back to v3? Is there a way to get it to be permanent, do I have to do something after I change it?

This setting should only be lost if you change the profile, I'll

look into it (with some help from midnight) and see what I can

come up with.

That possibly could be, since I use it with my headphones to listen to mp3's which would switch the profile from silent to headset automatically! I believe I noticed it most when I shut the phone off. Thanks for all your help!
