Guest markdotpeters5 Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 A new version of Pocketmusic has been released chaps; http://www.pocketmind.com/pocketmusicsp.htm Version 1.1 includes support for 2003, and performs better on 2002 (which I can confirm - works great on my mpx200, even with the equalizer turned on!) check it out. Guest James Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 good news... last time i tried it i found it was rubbish.. time for a retry! Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest peekie Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 have to say it does seem to work better and it being free is even better ( by installing the old version 098 and going to pocket musics website to register the programme which tells you its expired ) then install the new version the old one is removed and it will tell you instead of a few days trial you have 76665059 more days.have tested the date by changing the date by one year it works minus a years days that is .still i reckon by the time it finally locks your smartphone will be long gone in gsm heaven . by doing the same test on a phone without installing the older version it does lock up.
Guest MindBlower Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 where can i donwload 098 then??
Guest awesterink Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Version 1.1 is also not usable on the Samsung i600. It still skips frequently compared to WMP, and it still has the problem that it simply quits playing about a minute or so after you close the flip.
Guest peekie Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004  to find the old pocket music check on the spv sites that have software to download NOT the pay ones but the freeware if you look you can find it
Guest toseefsethi Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Did anyone find out where to get version 098 from so that I can get the new one for free? Thanx 4 ur help...
Guest awesterink Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 Version 1.1 is also not usable on the Samsung i600. It still skips frequently compared to WMP, and it still has the problem that it simply quits playing about a minute or so after you close the flip. After a bit of experimenting it seems that this problem is related to ActiveSync, but that's about all I can tell. When I connect the phone to the desktop and ActiveSync is running, I start PocketMusic, start a song, then close the flip...it keeps on playing. But when I disconnect the cable, it will quit after one minute. So, whenever ActiveSync is not active, for some reason the phone will interrupt PocketMusic about one minute after you close the flip. What gives? My Power Save timeout is set to "Never"...
Guest shadamehr Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 Did anyone find out where to get version 098 from so that I can get the new one for free? Thanx 4 ur help... I hope this is legal, if not I trust a Mod will remove my post at once, but all I am doing is simply offering a link... Also, it might change to the new version soon, so you best be quick: Click HERE for the link to what was the old version when I went...
Guest peekie Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 there is nothing illigal about it as you legally register the non working 0.98 version and all you are doing is what the screen on your spv tells you to do upgrade its not our fault that we get sooo many days free trial is it??
Guest spvlover Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Hello smartphoners Iv just got a little question about our trusty SPV e200 and Pocket Music. Is there a way to increase the volume a little more ? remember Warwicks Volume Control? Well, i tried installing it but it wont work. Pocket Music is a great:-))
Guest peekie Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 if you push up you get more volume but if its on the max 100 then there is not much you can do try the equaliser to boost it up a bit
