Guest azhar Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 I'm going to be purchasing a second hand E100 which is still locked onto Orange, I'm on O2 and only have O2 & T-mobile sims. I've been researching quite alot on how to go about this and the "SPV Unlock 2" method seems best. Although for the method I may need to use the phone. So what I'd basically like to know is, if you power the phone without a sim card, can you still access its features? Like copy files between directories and access the SD card.. etc .. etc? Because I don't have a Orange sim card availible, so if the phones currently locked I may have no way to be able to perform any required actions if the SPV doesn't allow access to features unless being online network. Could someone clarify this to me?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 You need to have an Orange SIM in the phone to access the files etc, what you can do is use an Orange SIM to start the phone then turn the radio off. Once you do this you can start the phone up with out an Orange SIM in it.
