Guest ehtik Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 I was just wondering if anyone figured out or if its is even possible to remove some of the stock images and ringtones that are installed on the mpx200... Thanks for any assistance.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 It's not possible to do unless you can hack the ROM. The images and ringtones are stored in the main Windows folder and this gets rewritten on every startup. The other point is that there is no point in deleting them if you are trying to get more space on your phone as that part of the phones memory is not allocated for you to use.
Guest ehtik Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Thanks for the reply... My questions was posed mainly as a desire to streamline the files on my phone... not necessary for space... I just figured that since most of my ringtones are custom ringtones and that I don't have a use for them... it makes no sense for me to keep them...
