MPX200 - network coverage - help

Got my new MPx200 yesterday. The network coverage I get with this phone is awful...at home no bars - line keeps dropping out (was fine with SPV) ...less bars in other places than I got with my SPV.

Is it the phone? Is this phone worse than the SPV?

Orange dont have a clue - may ask them for a replacement or may just cancal..(have 6 days left)

As posted elsewhere I have noticed a drop in reception compared to

the SPV but this does seem to be occasional. Generally the call quality is

better though.
