Guest Transform Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 i have installed pocketmvp onto my spv e100 and put lotr2 onto my 256mb storage card. the frame rate is set at 12.5 yet the film doesnt seem to play at this rate is seems to play at amuch lower rate. is there a reason for this? does the spv only handle a certain amount of fps?
Guest siu99spj Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Usually, for encoded films, you need a frame rate of 10 or lower (This is why my guide in the FAQ uses the 'Decimate by three option'). Although you can get a higher Frame rate, you need to REALLY reduce the quality, as Clint Eastman discovered. Buch the jerkiness could be caused by more than just the frame rate. The coding could have been done poorly, the bit-rate (For the audio or video) is set too high, or even there is too many apps running in the background. Its really hard to say what it is specifically, but it should be one of those.
