Guest pradaboy Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 MPX200 owner here... now don't laugh: when I install ActiveSync and plug in the USB cable everything's fine, but when I connect ActiveSync to my phone (establish the actual connection) my mouse dies. It just sits there in the screen and I cannot possibly move it anyway! When I disable ActiveSync the mouse works. Is that weird or what??? I tried it on my laptop but it works fine there, but my desktop has this crazy glitch! I have a Logitech wireless/optical mouse but i can't see why this should make any problems. plz help me! I'm getting pretty frustrated
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 What OS do you have (guessing win 98 ) on your PC and are you using a USB hub? The other thing to look at is have you tried updating your USB drivers? I've seen similar problems with older Via chipsets and win98
Guest pradaboy Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 win XP pro, no USB hub... geez win98... how offending LOL

Guest pradaboy Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 d00d I'm pretty good with pc's but I dunno what you're talking about! Lagacy 1.1 in my BIOS??? IRQ conflicts???
Guest MPXtricky Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 Right-click My Computer, Properties, Hardware, Device Manager. Down near the bottom of the list you will see the USB stuff - click the '+' to expand the details for the USB. Right click on each USB, click Properties and then start the Troubleshooter
